What we collect

When you book a Story, we collect:

• purchaser email address
• Story selected
• team size
• booking details
• team name and private-link information

When players join a team, we collect their email addresses to connect them with that team and send Story-related emails, such as results or team records.

Player emails are not added to a marketing list unless the player opts in.

If you contact CityStoreys, we collect the information you choose to send.

Gameplay records

CityStoreys records gameplay information connected to your team’s Story.

This may include progress, answers, help used, timing, scores and related gameplay events.

We use these records to operate the Story, save team progress, calculate scores, create post-game records and help when something goes wrong.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe.

CityStoreys does not store your full payment card details. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy and security practices.

Cookies and tracking

CityStoreys does not use advertising pixels, behavioural tracking or third-party marketing cookies.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Emails

CityStoreys sends operational emails connected to bookings, team links, gameplay, support and post-game records.

We will not add you to a marketing list unless you opt in.

Service providers

CityStoreys uses service providers for payment processing, email delivery, hosting, databases and related technical services.

Those providers may process limited information where needed to deliver their services.

Data retention

We keep records only as long as needed to operate CityStoreys, send relevant post-game emails, resolve issues and meet legal obligations.
